NOES! THE VERSTAPPEN PROBLEM IS BACK!
Hi guys,
I'm sorry to say this, but I have very, very bad news about F1 22...
Remember when I said in an earlier post that Max Verstappen is no longer OP like he was in F1 2021?
Well, since Update 1.11, which was the 1.10 hotfix, I did a race in Driver Career, and during the race, I saw Verstappen go with a pace that is far beyond any living being, and I played on level 71. Prior to the patch, Verstappen was never this fast before, and suddenly, he's back to dominating every single session like in the last game, which makes zero point zero sense, and therefore ruins the game even more by making every Career season predictable, because the champion is already set and the game wants to replicate it by all means, further confirming my concerns about EA trying to make it a replica of F1 2021, which had the exact same problem.
Dear EA, if you're reading this, fix your flipping game! I do not want a second F1 2021, I want an F1 game where every AI driver has a chance to win, and not where just one driver dominates everything. I can only relate to this guy in this video: https://youtu.be/Nqsw-8irbVk
Verstappen is no God, and therefore shouldn't be made a God in F1 games. This just ruins the fun, and completely destroys the experience. We don't want to have Verstappen win all 10 seasons of a Career, at least give all other AI drivers a chance! I mean, what about Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, even Sergio Pérez? Why is none of them faster than Verstappen?
I don't understand how you can ruin an F1 game like this. After 2021, I thought it can't get any worse, and now with the Verstappen problem back on our necks, all I can say is: Everything can get worse if the wrong people are in charge. This honestly reminds me of the end of Need for Speed Heat, because the Ghost dev team has been shut down. And they had tons of stuff planned for NFS Heat, like Seasons, more cars, and so on, and we will never get to see any of it because EA says so.
Honestly, I think I'm going to skip the next F1 game if this keeps up. If EA don't let Codemasters do their work and have them fix the things that need fixing, there's no reason to continue playing, sorry.
