Not able to find ranked multiplayer session

It's perfect now, had two lobbies with 14+ drivers , very cool now thanks. I'm on origin/ea app.

The only thing which is really annoying is that after the race is done and go back to lobby, the game put you in a lobby alone and you need to exit to rejoin the correct lobby, I think this cause the lobby to crash sometimes which happened 2 times.

Sometimes the lobby get stuck while the game is loading, it happens when someone is loading forever (maybe for DC or game crash) and so everyone need to leave the lobby because the game can't start.

However you should fix what I posted above because when the race is done and put you in a solo lobby it's quite annoying.

@Robbe800please listen to robbe800, that is also the case for me.

* Lobby should continue as it is, it should only remove players who drop to lower level ranks.

* people who are ranking up are free to leave the lobby and join the upper lobby or stay where they have improved their rank.

After some weeks I can say matchmaking is absolutely trash, I try to join ranked and it put me in a 3 man lobby so I leave and join again for about 10 minutes and put me always in the same lobby, then all of a sudden I join a 10+ man lobby with a race on-going. It means there are lobbies available but the matchmaking system is totally broken and instead of making an unique lobby and trying to reach 20 drivers then create a new one and so on, it creates more lobbies, some with 3-4 drivers and other ones with 10+.

Can you fix it? Because it's really annoying and put the fun away from this game.

For me there is absolutely no difference. I'm ranked A and i created a new ranked lobby (because no existing ranked lobby was found) but no other player is joining my session. I'm wainting for minutes now... so frustrating. So sad...

is there any action from EA to solve this problem? Do you know something? Can we expect a fix for this? Thank you so much!

Update today: no fix, no improvements, still not able to find/host any ranked session.

Friendship sessions can be found easily.

there is still no fix for me ... cannot find any ranked session. also not possible to host any ranked session.

Problem still exists... The lobby/match making is CRAP!

ok so these days on christmas i have found a couple of ranked online sessions.

i think it could be that simply more players are playing... but its defenitely not how an online match making should work in 2022...

Even not able to find any "friendship session" (don't know the exact english translation because i'm playing in german). 

Game is stucking while connecting to online services... It's such a mess...

i will definitely NOT buy F1 2023...

- if i join a unranked session i will be joined to a session which is noch starting ...

It so sad that EA is not able to find this match making issues...

Matchmaking in online ranked on this game has been an issue since the very beginning. 
It seems there’s no workaround at this stage, so I guess we just have to wait for the devs to fix this in an upcoming patch, if they are indeed still doing anything to fix the game still. 

It also seems that the higher your safety rating is, the less people there are to race, because quite a lot of people have safety ratings of B, C, or D. So if you have a good safety rating there’s just less people to race because they base the matchmaking mainly on safety rating.
