Offline Spectator/TV Mode?
Hello EA Community.
I know I might be digging-up a lot of past nostalgia for some F1 gaming fans from years ago, but I think an Offline Spectator/TV Broadcast Mode would be a nice edition.
For those that don't remember (And for those at Codies/EA that may recall), something like this was previously utilised on the Studio Liverpool F1 games (F1 Championship Edition, F1 06, F1 05 and so on)... where you could setup a Grid and and Weather conditions and then make the AI carry out a race.
With the current offering to do a LOT with the weather, like choosing when to rain, when it'll dry, choosing the starting order and the like, adjusting the likely hood of safety cars and so on (using the existing settings when setting up a race weekend)... it might be a fun pass time for some if they wish to have the game running in the background whilst attending to other things... who knows, it may even entice some streamers or well known YouTubers etc. to do something with it as a series for a whole season.
I know there is a broadcast like mode for online races, but why not make it for Offline as well? I think there would be a decent following of it... and compared to a lot of other additions to the game, wouldn't be massively difficult to handle.
Maybe I'm just the odd one out here, BUT... I think it would be quite awesome and bring back some decent nostalgia and would be used by a fair amount. Maybe to entice others, set an achievement/trophy (or more) in using it or doing 100% race distance with it. 🤔
Anyway, feel free to add-on to this... or ignore. Just a thought as a potential future update content. If not possible, maybe something for F1 23?
