Origin client

Not having had a game via this platform before does it remove the need for the Steam client or does the Origin client just sit on top? ☹️ Is game and patch 🥳 delivery possible without Steam? This ...

    Hey @SteveJackson,

    if you purchase the game via Steam, Origin is required to be installed and you need to be logged in, to get the game running on Steam: 

    However, if you purchase the game directly via Origin or our new EA App, you will be able to play the game directly without any further programs / clients needed. So Steam is not mandatory if you purchase the game via our own platforms. 

    If you have any further question regarding that, or our EA Play subscriptions, please let me know 🙂
