Peak nit?
so 1-100 what are the values like does 50=500 or what?

Surely you make the adjustment based on what you see, so what the number actually corresponds to doesn't matter?
Sure if you wanna half * it…I have a calibrated c1 so I’d like to set the correct peak nit as the initial 2 bars only show once and don’t really help much
For pc Its the same as always just max it and let the oled work it out.
On xbox or ps calibration is the way to go for those but pc still has issues with hdr and ive always had best results with letting the tv read the meta data
ie good highlights and low clipping of clouds etc

This is egregiously wrong.
The point of setting the appropriate maximum nit value is so that your TV isn't sent a signal which will cause it to clip highlights in the first place.
You should avoid tone-mapping whenever possible.

I'd guess you can get the calibration images to show again if you run the game in SDR and then do so again in HDR. That was the way to do it in F1 2021 anyway.
