For pc Its the same as always just max it and let the oled work it out.
On xbox or ps calibration is the way to go for those but pc still has issues with hdr and ive always had best results with letting the tv read the meta data
ie good highlights and low clipping of clouds etc

This is egregiously wrong.
The point of setting the appropriate maximum nit value is so that your TV isn't sent a signal which will cause it to clip highlights in the first place.
You should avoid tone-mapping whenever possible.
