Hi so I am very sure that I have already played F1 2021 on PS5 with my T500 F1 RIM (November 2021). I then paused for half a year and then it stopped working. Wanted to play it again a month ago, as a warm-up for F1 22.
Apparently some patch came in that period....
With F1 22 it's exactly the same. Steering wheel is not recognized at the start of the game. Have then read in a Codemasters forum that the T500 from Thrustmaster is no longer really supported what PS5 concerns. But there should be the workaround that it runs with the PS4 version also on the PS5.
Have now installed the F1 2021 PS4 version and actually the steering wheel is recognized there! Did it with F1 22 also made and the first game start, the steering wheel is also calibrated. Then thought cool it goes. But in the game it is then no longer displayed and you can not press anything. If you then start the game again, it also no longer calibrates. If you then unplug the USB cable and plug it back in, it will "calibrate" again the first time you start the game, but it still won't display. I really hope they get it fixed at least on the PS4 version.... Then I will get me sooner or later a new steering wheel, at the latest to F1 23. But when I read what there are all for problems with Thrustmaster steering wheels, I do not really want to get another. Really cheeky what EA offers there!
