Permanent Yellow Flag In Coop

Product: F1 22

Platform
: PC (Steam)

Summarize your bug:
When a player has a mechanical failure and retires in Coop Career, their car will pull over to the side of the track and never be cleared. This creates a permanent yellow flag in the sector the player has retired and when it's in an overtaking area it creates problems during races.

Which area is the bug/glitch in? Coop Career

How often does the bug occur? Every time a player car has a mechanical failure.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play Coop Career and have one player experience a mechanical failure.

What happens when the bug occurs?
Players car will pull off the road, never be cleared and cause a permanent yellow flag.

What do you expect to see?
The retired player's car eventually removed like when the AI experience a failure, thus removing the yellow flag from the sector.

Attached screenshot shows my teammate's car that has been parked in T1 since Lap 2.

My co-op partner and I have seen this a couple of times already in our first co-op career season (and we're only seven races in so far). Managed to capture it happening on video, here, in the 1.06 patch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YqrdSP8YYQ

They had a mechanical failure around 5-7 laps ago (so around lap 13-15 I believe) and the car automatically pulled over to the side of the road just before turn #5. Every couple of laps after that, Marc points out that there's a yellow flag in that sector.

Unfortunately, pausing the game to take this clip caused a crash-to-dashboard (which I've reported in a separate thread), but I have no doubt that the car other car would have sat there for the rest of the GP, and that's exactly what happened the previous time this occurred.
