Yup, we've been saying since 2020 that they needed to go. It was what was causing Bottas to be op Vs Hamilton for the previous 2 games and they still won't listen to us!
Honestly, I don't even care now if they just leave them in, I just want then to add a stat editor. With that we could just reduce everyone's stats by whatever they're gaining from the personnel. On top of that we could fix all the wrong stats as well and in a very minor way influence team performance by making a teams drivers stronger or weaker. Would basically fix all of our issues...
If you're worried about "cheating" to get trophies/achievements and podium pass challenges then just make it so a player using edited stats can't make progress towards them! Just keep the lap count points active.
So once again. Codies, EA. Please, please, please add an in game stat editor for us to use. Will be one of the best features you could add to the game that would make everyone happy!
OK.. So whilst I'm not new to the game this is the first year its actually grabbed me for longer than a few hours... Absolutely loving it... So is this game mechanic really as bad as I'm reading? If so I can't see myself playing more than one season? What's the point?
- @Kamackeris It really depends, the game itself have rough edges for sure, but definitely not as bad as 2021 when it first released.
For me, I've already spent hundreds of hours in, and that's after I spent about 2000 hours+ in 2020, but that's of course because I was on PC, with mods and stuff I can literally play forever. - @Kamackeris It’s fine margins. And anything slightly out notices especially to obsessive players off the game. A few tenths out from one session to next: especially as it’s up and down makes it hard to be confident off your setups when your accustomed to playing 90+ Ai. Last years game had loads more bugs but game was balanced although occasionally you’d have to change ai difficulty on some tracks but this year ai is fast one session slow the next. Practice programs look to have been fixed in patch so that will help.
Then like apophis I’ve put thousands off hours into previous games so ai aggressiveness is massive this year so I cover the inside earlier and force the ai out wide. Well before braking point. But Because ai are op out off slow corners it gets to the point more often than it should that you have 3 or 4 ai cars swarming you going into ever Corner. And that’s when I get the hump cause I know if I don’t concede track position one off them will eventually shunt me hardSo I already use the acceleration mod and in general I find it not too bad now... But I will be annoyed if all the ai drivers just start maxing out their stats
If you can't boost your teammates then what's the point for the facility?
What's the point in having more than 10 support AI's?
