Plus, EA is based/has headquarters in USA, so they don’t really have much affiliation with the British GP.
I definitely think they should consider not releasing a new game one year to help the following year and beyond massively.
Besides, they’ll still make a lot of sales if they do that, because people will just buy the current game (which would now be the next season’s F1 game) for the new drivers, teams, story mode, and other things.
Either that, or they could just release the next F1 game in March/April with the exact same things as they’d do just updating the previous game, and then align the game with the real life season which would be very popular (and hopefully have many less bugs and glitches).
EA is based on the USA? Wow never knew that

So we may hope for a May (Miami) release for the future 🥳
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@Nuvolarix Very possible.. Although I do hope Miami doesn’t last long. Boring to watch boring to drive

I do think EA will push Codemasters for an earlier release. To keep interest up for longer. Its well known numbers drop off after the season is over.
FIFA drops 2 months after the European football season starts. I’d imagine EA would want F1 to be the same which would be May. However can’t see it happening this year and fully expect game drop at Silverstone which is 7th? July

As I said, their headquarters is in the USA.
Would’ve thought you’d know that as a champion of their organisation.
I guess you learn something new every day! 😁
- Meza9943 years agoSeasoned Ace@Radoko34 March/April wont happen IMO.. They only learn the liveries and chassis in Februaray + will only learn race by race the characteristics of the cars like downforce, drag, engine power etc. and even though the characteristics are not represented properly in the latest games sadly ☹️
So i think they will take longer than March 100% and probably even longer than April for training the AI to the new cars and characteristics..
