Hi F1 community, As we’ve already seen, EA and Codemasters have already begun work on the new season’s car models and liveries, with the recently added Alfa Romeo C43 added into patch 1.18. Because we are seeing this happening for the very first time, and it appears the developers are already looking towards F1 23, there’s a possibility that F1 23 could be released a bit earlier in the year, which is something we’ve always wanted. What do you think? And would you like to see an earlier release date in the future for the F1 franchise?Thanks as always. 😊

Last year, F1 22 was announced revealed in late April. This year, F1 23 has been teased at the beginning of March, with the general consensus being that we expect a reveal very soon. This is almost two months earlier than last year. I surely hope not, they should instead skip a year and make a much improved and much less bug infested game for 24 (and maybe just add the new lliveries to current game). The yearly cycle is horrible, there is not enough time to do real improvements, new features and have also a quality product from the beginning.I know, not going to happen because of money rules above all else, which sucks.

I would like F1 23 to be released when it's ready. Many would argue that F1 22 was released too early given the bug situation at launch so I certainly wouldn't be pushing for F1 23 to arrive early.That's not to say that in principle I wouldn't like the launch of each new game to coincide with the start of each new F1 season. Of course I would!

@Radoko34 March/April wont happen IMO.. They only learn the liveries and chassis in Februaray + will only learn race by race the characteristics of the cars like downforce, drag, engine power etc. and even though the characteristics are not represented properly in the latest games sadly ☹️So i think they will take longer than March 100% and probably even longer than April for training the AI to the new cars and characteristics..

I’d like it to drop the day preseason starts… You can’t say regardless. It’s simply not possible to release the game in March or April.
As I’ve said previously FIFA that has thousands more people working on it and a massive budget compared to F1 still releases 2 months after the season starts.

It gives the devs time to adapt changes such as accurate car models and liveries. Along which Ai, Physics, and performance so everything represents the current season. It’s a time consuming things.

Time will tell whether the game gets an earlier launch or not but it certainly looks like a possibility. I'll admit I was very surprised to see the game announced as early as yesterday!
