Possible stolen content in the game

Hi all, a few days ago I came across this post on the F1Technical forum, where somebody extracted some of the cars' 3D models and found that the RedBull in particular had a very close resemblance to the model found in an Assetto Corsa mod (created by a team known for distributing pirated content themselves) that was released before F1 22, while the texture file for that car appeared to have been ripped straight from one that he had made. If true, this would be the second time Code "masters" have been caught stealing content from free Assetto Corsa mods.

I have already posted about it on RaceDepartment and would like to see someone go deeper into this issue. I have also attached a screenshot of the F1Technical post:

So, what came of it? Did people just jump the trigger on this one or did we indeed get solid evidence to back the stolen content speculation up?
Looks like the Race Department thread hasn't escalated above skepticism levels and neither the original thread where it popped up nor the one where the side talk was moved to seemed to have gained much traction.

Fortunately we have proof that neither the model nor the texture file were stolen. We can end the discussion.
