It's standard that disc versions are cheaper at launch. That's one reason why many still pay more to have consoles that take discs, including me.

@mariohomoh the use of the word 'quid' means the OP is talking about UK prices, as it's slang for pounds sterling. The current cheapest disc prices I can find are £47.85 of PS4 and £51.85 on PS5
