If you are wanting to take part in a World Championship event, then you have come to the right place. Envision Racing League has decided to devote itself to a single format, single division racing outfit with major perks and of course the chance to call yourself a World Champion rather than a league champion.
20 of the best drivers partaking in a full-season of Formula 1 from the Codemaster/EA franchised F1 22 around 23 of the worlds best tracks (DLC not included) for a shot of World Championship glory.
Perks:
⦁ Have a chance of being contracted to your team, serving time within the contract and race for your favourite team for more than one season, negotiations with your team boss/manager and showcasing your talent to prove you have what it takes to remain in your seat
⦁ Talk yourself around with other team owners and managers to see if you can score yourself a seat in another team to entice your current manager to sweaten you current deal, go around chat among people get yourself noticed in the silly season market.
⦁ Land yourself a shot of taking the big role of owner/manager of a team or the entire enginge outfit (Ferrari, RedBull, Mercedes, Renault) in which you then call the shots for contract negotiations, terminations of contracts and fronting the media with your outfits current plans
⦁ Engage with commentators and media reporters as they get the lowdown of your race preperations, race weekends and post-race interviews about races been and done, all of which will be portrayed on the Envision Racing League YouTube page.
Rules:
Engage in what will be a race of the ages with actual F1 rules in place of racing. Though expectations could be lessened based on driver/staff input of course. But...
⦁ Full-Qualifying with sprint events (in accordance to F1 calendar situations)
⦁ 50/100% races
⦁ Strict Corner cutting
⦁ Standard Damage on all fronts (Damage rate)
⦁ Saftey Cars on as well as being in Immersive mode
⦁ Formation Lap on as well as being in immersive mode
⦁ Pit lane sequences immersive as well
⦁ Ghosting off
⦁ Performance is Equal (despite real life claims)
⦁ Unsafe Pit Release off
⦁ Fuel Mode: Hard
⦁ Weather will be determined by the weather of the event in real life. (Example if raining in Melbourne the day of Australian GP, weather will be set to wet)
Restrictions:
While the World Championship of Envision Racing will allow drivers to start off with any assists they use (or don't use) across the seasons that this event continues on with will introducte Regulation Changes in which certain allowed assists will get restricted and won't be allowed to use. The aim will be by the end of a certain point the World Championship of ERL will become a strictly 0 Assist championship, but rather than force the hand straight off the bat, we will allow people to gradutate to such with regulation changes across seasons. The assists already restricted off for lobbies will be:

⦁ Brake Assist: High Off
⦁ ABS: Permitted
⦁ Traction: Permitted
⦁ Racing Line: Permitted
⦁ Pit Entry: Off
⦁ Pit Release: Off
⦁ ERS Assist: Off
⦁ DRS Assist: Off
⦁ Fuel Assist: Off
Now with all the nitty gritty out of the road. This is what we currently require.
Reserves (Any number)
Reserves will play a high point in the championship as well, drivers looking set to rise up to the ranks if a possible departure from the championship is made (I.E: Retirement, or unable to participate anymore). Reserve drivers will be contracted to reserve only in teams under their desired academy outfit, and are next in line to be promoted to full-time capacity if a seat is available
The Reserve outlook works in that you must be ready at all times to be able to take a seat over if needed, unless much like yourself have personal/family/vacational reasons not to. Reserves can be loaned out to other outfits but must have special approval made by the head of the ERL CEO body.
Media reporters
Pitlane reporters, media reporters, these people are responsible for compiling data to give to our broadcasting media to produce on Instagram, Facebook ⭐ and YouTube. You must provide a professional, non-biased approach to all interviews and must be prepared to take heat from people that might not agree with your views on things.

Dates of start:
This event is a long way away in that it won't be starting until the third week of January 2023. The official date will be the 21st of January, 2023.
Times of Racing: The races will be at 8am New Zealand time on Saturday mornings this being
- 7pm UK time on Friday nights
- 8pm Central European time Friday nights
- 3pm Eastern Standard time (USA) on Friday Afternoons
- 5am Australian Eastern time on Saturday mornings.

Support categories
We will eventually permit F2 as a support category that will run at the same time/day as the F1 events, but only if we have enough Reserves to make a full 20-car lobby with the same aspects of rules and what not.
We also have a GT7 Event with Gr3 cars that run the same time the day after (Sunday NZ / Saturday UK, US, EU) if you're interested in that as well.
