PS5 error code 2631071469:S "cannot connect to online services".

Summarize your bug On Startup of the game (F1 22 PS5 Edition) it tries to connect to the online service. It loads a minute and shows me error code 2631071469:S "cannot connect to online services".
What is your 16 digit Report Code? JDVG-XHDP-XDHH-BASC
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Multiplayer
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Did you have cross-play enabled? No
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Take a look on my console I guess.
What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot connect to the online services. Therefore I cannot participate in my league races.
What do you expect to see? An established online connection an me on the podium in my next league race.

Hi all,

the error occurs for like 8-10 days straight now. I already opened up three tickets which were closed and couldn't be fixed. Also I called the hotline to get my account checked and it seems fine. It is correctly linked to my psn id. What they mentioned is that they cannot find the game in the library even though I purchased it in April 2022 from the ps store. I even called PSN to get a confirmation that I bought the game from their store if needed by EA to restore the connection.

Troubleshooting I tried:

- restarted router

- restarted console

- use a wired connection

- set static ip address

- set static dns

- disabled IPv6

- opened ports for F1 22

- even set the PS5 as exposed host (IPv4 & IPv6) for NAT type open (won't recommend, dangerous!)

- reinstalled the game

- loaded the game with locally saved data

- loaded the game without locally saved data

- rebuild ps5 database

- reinstalled ps5

- enabled/disabled cross play feature

- new ea account linked to new psn id -> enabled offline sharing for my console

- installed F1 2021, same error

Conclusion:

1. My connection seems perfectly fine (NAT type 2 - medium, 500k download), no packet loss or anything suspicious. I can play every non ea game in multiplayer.

I am also able to play BF2042 and FIFA22 as far as my EA games. Also I play CoD Warzone with a ping at around 40, that seems pretty solid.

2. A friend of mine tried to play online with my account as a test. He is able to connect to the EA online services and play F1 22 in multiplayer.

3. Also when I connect my PS5 to my iPhone hotspot I am able to connect to the online services. I get nat type 3 by the way, so I think it would be unstable as hell. That is not really an option.

I really need the help of the community here. I have nothing else left to try. Could someone take a closer look into this? It seems like the ea servers, in particular the ones from F1 22, won't accept my connection. I worked through the basic and advanced network troubleshooting guides several times so please don't post them again. It has to be something deeper.

I am truly thankful for every helpful answer on this topic! If there are any more information needed I will gladly provide them.

I’ve got the same problem. I can sometimes do qualifying but then once I get to the race the whole screen says connection problem. I have no connection problem and as per your experience, everything else is working perfectly. Ugh, so frustrating.

Update: talked to my ISP. On their end there is nothing they can do. My internet works perfectly fine, there were no changes made and there are no blocked ports or anything else which could interrupt the communication to the EA F1 Servers.
This problem already takes to long to be acceptable. I tried every possible method on my end, now it's EA's turn to support.

I have been having issues since Oct 22. The only way I can play (PS5) is by disabling the crossplay function which is disappointing as I bought it because I could use the crossplay function. Brought this up many times and no one seems to do anything about it! A lot of other people, regardless of console or PC, are having the same issues.

EA Support mentioned that I should try this. Anyways it doesn't work for me, neither with cross play enabled or disabled. I just can't get any connection to the multiplayer.

Do you know any EA employee who could help with this topic? If so maybe you could tag them here.

I mean we are half at the lifecycle of this game and it's basically unplayable for me as im in a league for online races. no multiplayer = no league participation. I payed 90€ for the preorder version and now I can't play, that's not acceptable at all that this post gets ignored.

Im on PS5 and have no issue. So I’m assuming it’s going to be like finding a needle in a haystack

alright, thanks for confirming! I hope they can find the needle. This topic annoys me so much. I even bought another router to check if it's an hardware issue.
