PSGL Controversy!

@ScarDuck14I followed it and watched extended highlights today. If I'm honest it was a complete farce.

Bari disconnected at one point with him ghosting, making him lose quite a few places.

I will however laud Longuet. Extending the track to the extent he was and he couldn't catch up to the leader even when the leader wasn't using ERS was quite interesting.

Was this over yesterday's race?

Where Longuet just went batshit crazy, cutting corners and piling up penalties like there was no tomorrow, and still couldn't get catch Ronhaar?

That prompted this reaction from Opmeer?

Rewound the video here and watched the incident that culminated in the overnight, post-event 3s extra penalty. I don't see how it fixes anything except for perhaps easing off the spirits of those that feel like the controversy surrounding Ronhaar makes his championship underserving 🙃

I can't take F1 Esports seriously for the reasons we discussed in other threads. Basically:

• Promoters and organiziers (Codies included) don't do nearly enough to cast a veneer of professionalism to the scene. The way they deal with the cheating allegations is inadequate, insufficient and dispiriting;
•  Competitors don't act the part. Not really blaming them, they're mostly kids and act as such. But if the sport doesn't put any effort towards elevating them, I don't feel like dedicating any of my free time to it.

Lap 19 incident getting rectified does not fix that. Actually it coming so late after the event in a way will still add petrol to this backyard bonfire.

Feels like caring for kids' Sunday soccer (rectius: football 🫶) and all its unsuitable gossiping and mayhem when I don't even have a child in the field.

Tons of respect for a few players in there, but honestly F1 Esports, as it is, is rather unbecoming for them.

So are the commentators taking the view.  That they are just there to commentate on the race regardless that they know full well what’s going on but carry on with ‘Ronhaar has dealt with everything that’s been thrown at him’.   Absolute joke,    Reminds me of this… Wish I could do video editing.   Just imagine Tim Robbins face has a picture off Jarno over it 😂

The PROBLEM is not the kid but ALL of those who wont step up if they're so SURE he's cheating (Opmeer and the Esport gang)

What are they waiting on if they know SHOW US!

John Evan accused Luke Smith of cheating awhile back and they checked his PC and it was cleaned and he was cleared. John Evans internet presence went to the potty after that. This is what they're afraid of imo.
