@mariohomoh You misunderstand the point of those tweets and are twisting my words for some reason. The point is that his pc was checked during F1 Esports and nothing was found, but the opinion would still remain and everybody who is doing psgl is aware of it and still chose to take part in the races only for Opmeer to 1) stop 2) bark some more after stopping. At no point did I say Opmeer's opinion should be dismissed, I'm talking about the manner in which all of his is happening. This should've been resolved internally, not a witch hunt where a guy is getting harassed wherever he shows his face and will continue go get harassed until he has a chance at F1 2023 esports which is in ..... september.

Did any official social media channel or staff from F1 Esports declared that, or are we relying exclusively on third parties saying so?
About me twisting your words, sorry if I gave that impression. Specially as I was posting in what could be seem a direct response to you. It was not, and my comment slots in in the wide discussion about cheating in F1 esports that we've been having in a handful of threads here.
Take your username mention out of my post or even delete your previous comment entirely and my post would 100% still be something I'd be saying in these discussions.
Back on track: as a potential supporter of the F1 esports scene, just hearsay about Ronhaar's PC being checked isn't enough for me to take it seriously. Codemasters, EA and all other relevant parties haven't conducted this situation with any semblance of professionalism.
They're leaving Ronhaar to bear all the social media hate by their inaction.

We're all reasonable here, we're all capable of reviewing our stances in the light of new evidence. So let's take we out of the equation for a moment, and agglutinate the shouty minorities throwing stones on Twitter. Who do we have in this circus?
a) "Ronhar's a cheater! That handling is impossible!" – no evidence. Only hearsay that this or that entity checked his PC, and other esports players weighing in either with their not-really-unbiased take about what should be feasible lap times, or their straight up discontentment with how things have been handled.
b) "Opmeer & co are sore losers! Ronhaar's been checked numerous times" – again, no evidence. Only hearsay that this or that... you get it. This hits me as just another assumption, made on equally shaky premises – i.e. that it is conclusive that Ronhaar's hardware was tested by F1 Esports, that the testing was carried out to adequate standards, and that nothing wrong was found.
Who we don't have is any organization acting the part.
I can't take them seriously 🤷
- @mariohomoh I understand what you're saying and I agree as whole, but this still doesn't change the fact that the most popular F1 esports driver started this whole thing and is continuing to put more fuel on the fire when he should've done this internally with codies. Ronhaar is 17, he has to endure another 5 months of bullying online before F1 esports gets rolling again and that's assuming he still has some mental health left to show up and compete AND THEN he still has the task to I guess win F1 esports to prove himself and even if he does I suppose he will just forget all this and move on? Right. You can blame codies/ea for staying quiet and not backing him up, like a statement that his pc was checked would go along way, but it's still Opmeer that chose to do this in this way with a seemingly total disregard for what happens to Ronhaar. Even if Ronhaar is cheating and gets massively exposed, is this really justified? No. But make no mistake, I agree with what you're saying, from an organizational standpoint it's all shambles lmao

I just find it hard to single out 23yo Opmeer as more of at fault here. Like @TotosHeadphones said, none of those kids (or young adults?) should be the target of internet hate.
The harassment Ronhaar's getting is absolutely unfair even if he has been indeed cheating. But that falls squarely on Codemasters and the organizers/promoters' shoulders.
Taking a different angle here: if we shouldn't blame Ronhaar's for not taking the matter in his hands and play sessions on a different rig or something like that, I don't see why we should blame other competitors for not being able to turn the other cheek under the utter fiasco of organizers not stepping in.
This is not giving Opmeer or any other player a free pass to inflame the public. If he ever deliberately said something that would intentionally set the internet ablaze, that should be met with consequences. Even him being straight up excluded from competition would be fair game.
But I honestly can't single him out for venting when Codies/EA etc. haven't take measures to put this fire out.
Hey, I don't expect you to agree with me on this one. And it's ok. I'm only talking about me here. As in, I can't direct my anger towards anyone other than organizers. And as I said before, Opmeer is putting his reputation on the line. If Ronhaar gets cleared up and Jarno does not let it go, I think there's no way to keep on being supportive or even indifferent towards the latter.
Even if Ronhaar is found guilty somehow, I would still NOT get angry at him. He's 17, and F1 Esports has waaays to go until I can take it seriously.
This is on Codies/EA as far as I can see.
