Race Friends Ghost in Time Trial

Hello there!

I'm wondering if I'm missing something obvious but is there any way to race a friend's ghost on time trial mode in F122?

I'm on xbox and a friend is on PC. We're both friends in the game, have latest version with cross play enabled but:

  • We can't see each others lap times on the friends leaderboard under time trial (seems like a bug?)
  • We both can't find a way to see the friends ghost on track

If this isn't a feature, it seems like a simple but super fun one to add. Even if you could switch between global rival and friends that would be awesome.

    Cross-play is only for 2-player career and social lobbies I'm afraid, not Time Trial. So I think what you're experiencing is more a not yet included feature rather than a bug.

    Regarding setting racing against a friend's ghost in TT, I think you can do this by going to the friends leaderboard in TT, selecting the relevant friend and then 'Set as rival'.

    Here is as good a place as any for suggestions but realistically plans for the current game are probably already set. In terms of upcoming changes the following is the best we have, which for example tells us that the China track will be coming to the game:

    Specifically in terms of cross-play coming to Time Trial, I have no insider info. but my guess is that we won't see this in F1 22. I'd like to be proved wrong though.
