GP mode isn’t part off any career progression. So gp mode doesn’t have any facilities or r&d applied
what you see in gp mode in terms off cars performance ranking and driver rankings is what you get

So to be 100% clear, should My Team and Career have the same AI? Or is My Team tainted by the facilities for 2nd drivers while Career is not? If it is the same then a race or two of career mode could help set the AI. If not then it’s all just guess work.
I never understood why the cars diverged in Career due to you controlling R&D since teams do not really split their R&D but that’s for a different thread.
- @AEF251 Yes 2nd driver facilities is the worst thing in this game for me as I only play my team. And I despise it with passion For a couple off reasons. Top Ai drivers end up being exactly the same level. 100 100 100 100. Add that to the fact they are both driving a car off equal performance. So what you get is they take turns beating each other and not to mention most races they spend most off the race driving side by side and therefore Jeopardising their race. Only thing that separate them is penalties or dnf. But as Althings are equal they equally share those.
And For me to keep the ai around the same level then cause more issues cause if you’ve got spec 2 facilities like I have I can’t sign Lando and hadt to sack Button because I’m now top off the performance rankings. And was beating all the other teams by a second a lap: And normally I’d increase the ai difficulty. But doing that ment Button would just drive off into the sunset.
