@GrandDragnThat is not true in its entirety.. AI is affected if you reduce the downforce of a car, by dirty air as well as it goes hand in hand with downforce..

PS. even when its still like this, its not a problem to increase the weight when over or underheating the tires, so the easier physics is not a reason not to simulate the same effects.
