Oh, and doing well in your race? Set to score decent points? Don't worry: the game will sabotage you - maybe it rains, maybe your engine dies, maybe the AI gain five seconds a lap on you all of sudden, maybe the corner you had no problems with for the last twenty five suddenly spins you out and sends you flying - all of these and more and just ready and waiting to ruin your day.
@BauersomeWelcome don’t know if you see it but there’s a recent thread where we conspiracy theorists are sharing our frustrations. That are all remarkably similar. Well except rain. Last year every race. This year very occasional. And there are lots off posts complaining that it doesn't rain enough.
last year I found it rains more if you constantly finish higher than your teams performance ranking . Being punished for doing well
And I’d like to say yet again. Everyone said I was imagining things and there’s no conspiracy: For me its nice to know I’m not alone 👍
EA pay more than most to secure sports licenses. FOM love money. They will stick with EA.

Just to add that I agree with all of the issues mentioned here and I've been talking about them in several topics since day 1 when this game was released.
I still think it's a great game - or at least, it still has the potential to be - but, sadly, it has SO DAMN MANY problems and EA's "pace" to fix them all is far from satisfactory.
Keep in mind this is NOT a Codemasters title anymore - it's EA's now and that explains why things are so much different (and worse) than they were until F1 2020 - I'm not saying this to 'offend' EA. I just mean that since they took over, they haven't been able to do a job as good as Codies were doing before them - and that's both a fact and a shame.
Let's hope that the next one (F1 23) is a good/better one and that they learn from ALL of the mistakes made with this one - otherwise, it will be the very last one from this series that I'm gonna buy - as 'crazy' as this may sound, I still have faith in EA and I hope they don't make me lose it completely (they're not far from doing it - just sayin')..
