I'm only getting this error on Xbox Series X. For what it's worth, I recently purchased the game on EA for PC too. I get this error whenever I launch the game and it stops me playing two player career or multilayer. The same error shows up if I try to enable Crossplay, which is currently showing as disabled. The PC is unaffected - I was playing my two player career yesterday on EA, with my co-op partner on Steam.

Hi All,
For anyone who is experiencing this issue, we'd love to get some additional logging enabled on your account to help us track down the issue. If you are able to help out then please send me a direct message and I'll exchange the necessary information to start this process.
Thanks also to those players who have already provided logs for us. The information has pointed us in the right direction, but we need more info to confirm whether this is the same issue being experienced on all platforms as there is a slight variance in the descriptions of the issue.

Hi, I also would like to be apart. Same error for me via Steam.
First time using this platform. It’s not allowing me access to my inbox to DM directly, apologies.
- @NgY22 If it's anything like my experience, now that you've posted in the forum, click on Hoo's username and you should now have the option to DM. Else, you may now be able to access your Inbox under your account.
Also experiencing this issue since a recent update. Playfab can't connect and I can't enable crossplay. Crossplay was working fine for me before.
I'm on PS5 and have also tested this on PS4. This appears to be an account issue with EA and playfab.
The quality of your product continues to slip, pretty disappointing.

Hi All,
Thanks to everyone that has been able to offer assistance in tracking down this problem. The additional logging that was provided has enabled us to locate the source of the issue. Unfortunately, there was a very rare chance of a player's F1 account being stuck in a state where it would not connect to our game servers. We believe that we've been able to prevent further players from hitting this problem and are currently working with our partners to find a way of recovering the accounts of players who have already been affected by this. We also have some additional diagnostic tools included in our next game update which we will use to run tests on potential account recovery processes.
Apologies for the inconvenience caused to any players affected by this. We will update this thread once we have a further update on this issue.

@VinnyCipsExactly mate it just gets worse year on year. The only way to stop them releasing broken games is to simply not to buy them any more which is what I intend to do. I will miss not playing new f1 games as I'm at a good standard (top 5%) but enough is enough and it's time to make a stand. I started this thread 6 weeks ago and on reading @Hoobiechoobie latest post on the issue it's become obvious to me that they really have not got a clue and are not particularly bothered at fixing this, so for me it's goodbye EA / codemasters, not another pound/dollar being spent on BROKEN Games @FlamingWingGold @NgY22 @dscfan197 @
Thank you for the update. How can it be so complicated to recover broken accounts? Either it is a parameter to fix, or an account on Playfab to delete and recreate...what else can it be?
We bought this game in preorder because it is related to the real F1 season. When F1 2023 comes out, it becomes worthless! So we paid full price for a game which will be outdated before we can enjoy it!
Really disapointing from a big brand like this to which we give money each year
@Hoobiechoobie , there's an update dropping tomorrow. Hope there's an update on if folks in this thread will have their accounts fixed with this update. Any update?
Nobody needs griddy celebrations, or wasting development hours on things nobody asked for, when you have fundamental issues with your game.

Hi All,
The dev team has been working with our partners on this issue and is in a position to start attempting some potential fixes for this issue over the coming days. There are a few different stages to this, so please bear with us a little longer as we try and step through these stages carefully.
First, we have made a specific change to the PlayFab login for the following players: @FlamingWingGold, @02465e313454fbf3, @OlyDave96, @Wollcott, @TheRedEyeJedi93.
Please could the above players try a full reboot of the game and then let us know if you are able to access crossplay and the other online modes correctly?
