Re: Crossplay Playfab error

It does work now and the error Is gone. But it doesn't help me one single bit as I cannot invite any of my friends. 

So CrossPlay is pointless in the first place it seems.

    We did have a tentative fix for the friends list issue, but it looks like it didn't work. I'll re-open that thread with the dev team and see if we can get that one moving. The thread for that is:

    @Hoobiechoobie any update on when others in this thread and my account can also be corrected? 

    Glad to see the others have their accounts fixed.

    Once we've checked the feedback from the above players, the next step will be a larger migration of account settings for all non-Origin players.You will be included in this phase. If the initial analysis looks ok then this should happen in the next day or two. Origin players will follow after that.

    Will be glad to see this finally fixed, looking forward to finally being able to play with friends again

    Hi All,

    Following successful reports from our initial limited test, we are planning the following steps to try and resolve this issue for the remaining players:

    1. We will be making a change to the crossplay accounts for players on PlayStation, Xbox and Steam platforms.
    2. We will be making a change to the crossplay accounts for players on ALL platforms.

    There may be some disruption to our online services as we complete these steps, so please report any connectivity issues in this thread. 

    In terms of timescales, we are hoping to run stage 1 tomorrow and stage 2 early next week. If there are any changes to this schedule then we'll let you know here.

    We have now made the change to the crossplay accounts for players on PlayStation, Xbox and Steam platforms. Please let us know if this has resolved the issue for you. @VinnyCips and @NgY22 you will be in this group of players.

    @FlamingWingGold@02465e313454fbf3@OlyDave96@Wollcott@TheRedEyeJedi93, please note that we have reverted the manual fix that we did for your accounts as you should also be included in the group of players above. You shouldn't notice any difference since we did the manual fix on Wednesday, but please let us know if anything has changed.

    This seems to have fixed the problem for me, I haven't attempted a race as I don't have time but I did quickly load the game and I didn't receive the playfab error like I was previously

    Looks like it has resolved my playfab error. I can enable and disable crossplay without the error, no longer see it on game start-up and joined a ranked lobby with no issues.

    Appreciate the help and addressing this!

    For reference, between the original fix being rolled out for me (after it had propagated), I was still getting the PlayFab error. I was then able to enable Crossplay in the options and join multiplayer sessions. This was after removing the game from Quick Resume and fully restarting.

    Today, the game launched without the PlayFab error being displayed. I mention this in case it helps with future analysis/diagnosis.

    If they are playing on EA Origin (or EA App) then this will be looked at early next week. If on another platform then they should try a full reboot of system to see if that resolves it.

    Hi All,

    We have now completed an update to our login process that should resolve the PlayFab issue for all players. In particular, this should resolve the issue for Origin players who were previously unable to connect to PlayFab (@Yom8675, @moroder97, @jonnie13310).

    Please note that this change may affect all players, including those whose PlayFab issues were resolved last week, so please let us know if you experience any issues in connecting to PlayFab on any platform.

    Thanks again for those players who helped us to track down this issue and apologies once again for any inconvenience this has caused.

    Hello @Hoobiechoobie,

    I just launched the game and the error indeed seems to be gone.

    No error when I launch, and no error when I join a lobby.

    I am now able to enable crossplay.

    Thank you very much for listening to us, which was not the case of all other useless "support" teams.

    Extra logging has been disabled now for everyone who helped out with this, apart from one player who is helping us to investigate a different issue. Thanks again for helping out, it really was very useful for us!

    hey, still have the issue!

    STEAM PC

    Game Version: 01.19.959964
    Report code: EHXM-DHTA-EDPD-DASE

    Multiplayer don't work at all; Social Play and Ranked Play

    PlayFab Error is showing immediately after login to the game.

    Havent been able to play online for months, please help!
