Re: EA Codemasters Just don't care

@Vecna-83 Because, if they would tell the truth, they would never get a review build ever again plain and simple. Never ever believe what a youtuber or streamer on twich will tell you about the game before it is released and the honest reviews start to come out.

And every year this again. It was like this on the codemasters forum and it is like this here as well. I read the forums and wonder if I have an advanced build of the game.🤷🏽‍♂️

I remember when it was like "They should take the license away from Codemasters, EA would make a much better Formula 1 game" and here we are. It's 2022 and we are on the EA forums discussing how awful the EA version of F1 22 is. Oh the irony.😂

  • @DukeOfAntwerp Yes but it is NOT EA! If that was the casr, we wouldn’t have that rustbucket of an EGO engine shoved down our throats. Neither the worthless netcode and online lobby design.

99% still comes from CM, the rest is EA for microtransactions.

The one thing that still annoys the living hell out of me is when I’m trying to look for unranked lobbies, and it says HIGH assist restrictions, the 2 most important assists are always on.
So then I leave, but in stead of simply going back to the lobby screen, I GO TO THE MAIN MENU AND HAVE TO GO BACK INTO THE LOBBYS AGAIN! Is it so hard to create something as simple as on page back? FFS. If CM designed a webpage, the back button would restart the browser and to that mainpage.

I simply do NOT understand the logic behind that in any way.

And if you think you profit from faster loading times on next gen? I installed both ps4 and 5 on my PS5, loading times are exactly the same. Taking ages once you’re used to those high speeds the PS5 is capable of.
And it’s not because of the insane graphics or anything, because Horizon forbidden west, gran turismo 7, miles morales which are graphic GEMS and make F1 series look like a joke, load INSTANTLY! And most are open world and 1000 times more advanced than this

It looks very EA to me. F1 Life, way too expensive micro-transactions, an over the top presentation that is geared toward teens, .... The game just screams EA. EA is responsible for this game.

Are you sure you installed the PS5 version? On my Xbox it came in 2 versions. The one for last gen Xbox and the one for Series S/X and loading times are fast. There are almost no loading times. You installed the PS4 version on the PS5

I find this hard to believe. A key upgrade for me of the PS5 version of F1 2021 was the much faster load times and I seriously doubt the difference has disappeared on F1 22. Like @DukeOfAntwerp are you certain you're comparing PS4 and PS5 versions?

@Ultrasonic_77 Me too. I still haven't sold my PS4 and have both connected to the TV. The difference in F1 2021 is right there, quite obvious, and F1 22 does not feel behind.

No idea where this is coming from.

@hollerboller1970 I sort of meant that surely those with early access must have come across the issues.

By the sounds of it EA/Codies should get 20 or so players who will to commit 50/80 (in a week) hours on the game 2 weeks before release, trying all options some doing career, some my team, others testing track and in game items. Then all use last 10 hours doing online races.

I feel like I’ve been conned with this game, no point reporting it as commented on another who had same issue over a my team issue but that post has vanished like the sponsors on my car.

I currently have a sponsor that is for apparently 33,752 days, Imola just crashes the Xbox so can’t race there. No Delta times.

Last year was the first time I pre ordered the game and any bugs were dealt with relatively quickly or at least acknowledged and they tried to fix them in time. Next year I will wait for reviews before deciding whether to get the game when it goes on offer.

Very very little replies from anyone at EA, for their first actual involvement in the game is horrendous and doesn’t bode well for the future, I also know my issues are minor compared to some and if EA actually had a shop where you could turn up for a refund they would be forced to either fix the game or walk away from it.

Rant over and probably my last post as expecting a ban. Laters. 😁
