Re: Expected features for F1 23
I know it’s too late to change their minds about anything from launch, but I’d certainly love to see some more game mode similar to the Elimination one, which they could add into the game in an update.
For example, there could be a last driver standing, where everyone has to take each other out (sim damage) and the last driver with all four wheels intact wins. And to prevent the games from lasting forever, there could be a timer, and if there are still multiple people remaining in the event, the person with the least percentage damage overall for all parts of their car wins.
Another could be a cat and mouse game, where the lobby is split into several teams. In each team, there’s one mouse which is a slow car (could be an F2 car) and the others are F1 cars - the cats. The goal for the cats is to get their mouse to the end of the race first. Could be cool?
Freeze Tag. Two teams. Team A is the taggers. Team B is the survivors. As a tagger, you try to tag a car on the survivors team. When they get tagged, their brakes automatically lock, and they have to be tagged by a survivor to be unlocked. No damage. Both teams have a go at being a tagger and a survivor, and the tagger team who tags all of the other team in the lowest time wins.
There could be special rewards for these mini games. Exclusive liveries, helmets, etc (all the podium pass sort of stuff).
