To clarify my previous post, F1 2021 runs at 120Hz with the TV mode set to 4K but the game may render at a lower resolution so we can assume 2022 will be the same/very similar.
@gundevilNL This goes for VRR too, thanks.

It will for the purpose of handling small drops below the target frame rates of presumably 60 Hz or 120 Hz since no specific game support is required for this. Where games are noted as having specific support for VRR it means an additional charge like unlocking the frame rate or in some cases I think it's meant the addition of a 40 Hz mode for 120 Hz displays (although this could be done before VRR too as Ratchet did this).
Hopefully the bug with the steering wheel in cockpit view running at like 10fps is fixed when in 120hz mode. Was a few posts about it last year but was never addressed.

I've been using cockpit mode a bit recently and can't say I've noticed an obvious issue?

Here one post of this with a short video. It's not to bad at slow speed but once you've gained speed it's constant. This on Xbox Series X. Definitely more noticeable in real life when viewing the rest of game running at 120. On way to fix on wheel is to turn forcefeedback effectively off. Playing on a pad runs fine. Forced me to play 21 on 60hz all year.
