Re: F1 22 crash: error reading data verify integrity cache

To verify the cache files of your game please follow the steps below;

1. Load Steam

2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.

3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... button.

4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.

5. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.

Peter

    Hello, I already checked my integrity files like 3 to 5 times and it's always displaying this message, any way to fix it with another way?

    @ClemBtrl
    This is a long shot but you may be having a slight issue with Direct X cache
    I have Win 11 but should be same process
    Do this

    Go to File Explorer > Right Click on your hard Drive ( usually c:/ ) > Select Properties > Select Disc Cleanup > Put, a tick in Direct X Shader cache and hit Ok then Delete

    This will Clear the DX cache

    Hope this helps

  • @Antic3 Yeah nah, still have the same problem, do I should try to reset my windows? Idk it's kind of a painful process...
  • @Antic3 I did re-install my windows AND clear the DirectX cache and it's still not working. I'm doing a fresh install of the game on a different drive hoping it will maybe fix the issue 🙂
