We would like a get some more information in order to speed up the investigation regarding this internal combustion engine issue.

• What assists are you using? 
• Are you playing the entirety of the practice/qualification sessions?
• Are you seeing the wear increasing while driving?
• Length of the race, 5laps, 25%, 50%, full race?
• Are you doing anything particular that could hurt the engine like shifting too early or too late ?

Any videos with the wear increasing in a lap would also be appreciated.😉

• What assists are you using? 
  medium brake assists, abs off, traction control on 
• Are you playing the entirety of the practice/qualification sessions? Sometimes yes, have tried skipping all practice sessions and after qualifying have 30% ice usage, have skipped qualifying and just raced and even then 5-10% usage each lap 
• Are you seeing the wear increasing while driving? All the time while driving 
• Length of the race, 5laps, 25%, 50%, full race? 25%- 50% 
• Are you doing anything particular that could hurt the engine like shifting too early or too late ? No shifting late have been shifting the middle of rpm’s and still even with late shifting 

Assists: No assists apart from full racing line

Sessions-driving 20-30 minutes in full practice and 10-15 minutes in full qualifying
Wear increase while driving- Yes

Length of race- 50%

Anything particular- I shift at the same time as i did last year with no problems in the last game which is normal shifting. 

I did more testing and the problem goes away when i'm driving in automatic at least for me. The problem is still there in manual and manual with suggested gear so it looks like it is just a manual gear problem increasing the wear. 

I’m in my team career and after only 29 laps I had 49% ICE wear using red bulls engine. As for shifting and being hard on the engine I played f1 2021 religiously and never even got close to this kind of wear. I only use ABS assist. Hope u can fix it soon as starting at the back with a car that has no upgrades is already a major chore lol.  

No assists outside racing line. Driving the same as F1 21. Full practice and quali 50% race.

I’ve tried to do both quick practice and all sessions, it doesn’t matter

I can visually see the wear increase while I’m driving, in the powertrain status MFD

Race Length: 50%

I’m not doing anything in particular to hurt the engine, I do sometimes shortshift out of some sharper corners to grip the track faster.

I've just started My Team career as a completely new team with lowest budget and my engine was finished after 22 laps in 2 practice sessions... It's not even enough to finish one 50% race. Guys, I bought this game for this mode. Maybe I am not professional game driver but now it is impossible to play for me.

When can we expect this to be resolved ?? 

For me, I use medium traction controle with ABS on. I shift Manual. I’m skipping practice, have 18 minute quali and a 50% race, but I can’t manage to finish a race because my ICE is wearing about 4-5% a lap. I’m driving quite normally as I know, just shift the same as I did on F1 2020 and 2021 but at these games my ICE never had any weird wear.

• What assists are you using? - Medium traction control, ABS on and manual gearbox.
• Are you playing the entirety of the practice/qualification sessions? - I play through roughly 1 full practice session (2 if i don't know the track that well) per race and do one shot qualifing.
• Are you seeing the wear increasing while driving? - Yes.
• Length of the race, 5laps, 25%, 50%, full race? - I do 50% race length.
• Are you doing anything particular that could hurt the engine like shifting too early or too late ? - Not that i know of. I'm driving and shifting like i did in f1 2021.

• What assists are you using? ABS, Traction control medium, racing line corners only
• Are you playing the entirety of the practice/qualification sessions? i usually sim 2 of the practice sessions and play one and play the quali i have tried not to sim and it doesnt really make a difference.
• Are you seeing the wear increasing while driving? yes it increasses by aroud 2-3% per lap
• Length of the race, 5laps, 25%, 50%, full race? i have tried both 25% and 50% doesnt make a difference.
• Are you doing anything particular that could hurt the engine like shifting too early or too late ? I have tried a little bit of everything shortshifting etc not making a difference.

So i have full traction control no braking assist or steering manual gearbox i Change the gears by myself so with the ice upgrade on the durability in 57 laps race the ice is on 50 i cant play another race with that ice i need a new one every race yes i play full sessions.And when i play a normal grand prix not in career in like 5 laps the ice is on 7-8 very much.Fix it please quickly you cant play a career mode with only 3 ices even if you play medium sessions.THANK YOU VERY MATCH

All the information you provided is very helpful.

It looks like it’s a bug in the expected laps. Right out the gate when I use a new engine it’s showing expected laps for that engine at 49 laps. I do 50% races, full qualifying. By the time practice, qualifying, and the race is over I’ve hit the expected laps for that engine and the wear is like 90%. 

Is there an estimated time when this will be fixed?

Only assists are corners only racing line, pit assist. 
I have tried playing all, skipping all, quick practice, and a mix. ICE wear is high regardless.

No. Same driving style in 21 workday let me run 6-8 races on one ICE.
