- @BadMayh3m Everything on the page on playtesting is given. I have not had any problems
@BadMayh3m What I call the portal is the initial site that you see when you log in. From above you should be able to see the playtest in the preview calendar but there's nothing in the diary or in the preview. There's nothing to show of confirmation or even registration. Some users have a pending and can see the dates in the preview and the calendar. This is one of the problems, users can't see what their status is for the beta.
@pawel567Count yourself lucky. I had to email the playtest team and they have confirmed my registration but I'm not confident that this is all going to plan for some who have registered and had the playtest disappear from their profiles
- @TotosHeadphones When did you get engaged? When it was announced by EA on social media or when it appeared on playtesting?
- @pawel567 I've been signed up for playtesting for quite a while and been offered a few things in person. I went through the playtesting route. There's shouldn't be discrepancies between either route of registration

Thanks you and everyone for helping to clear this up and I have to agree its messed up. @BadMayh3mYes, that's the mobile browser. Normally I would apologise if I caused any confusion but on this occasion everyone is confused by this!
Hopefully, whoever gets on the beta will take the bug reporting seriously.- @TotosHeadphones Pretty sure the confusion is on my end as I went back to see where I messed up and I was going to the Calendar to see the dates others had as my screen looked like yours. I thought the info was sitting somewhere else.
I'm not very tech savy is an understatement! So I have emailed George from the playtesting team again and said that my playtesting schedule is still empty. He said that he will reset my status on the survey so I can do it again and this should fix the visual errors. Now I can see the beta in the schedule. Hope this helps anyone👍
- @Baki2-_ Such a shame it has to go this way, feel like alot of good candidates (judging from the people commenting on this topic here) are gonna miss out because of a technical error while they would have had a very good contribution to the program, hopefully everyone here makes it in and we can make it a good one 🙌🏼
- @THEHAMZAGAMER12 Im sure they are going to review all applications whether or not they were fully completed. Mine crashed but they did confirm it was received so i suppose that is something
Who would I have to email to get help with my application? I’ve never received any emails, I’ve had to rely on checking the forums everyday.
I took part in both 2020 and 2021 betas over on codemasters site. That process was much simpler. Never tested anything for ea.
I keep seeing people say they’ve emailed and had their applications checked but I can’t find anywhere as to who we need to email. Apologies if I have missed a message in here stating where to email
- @craig8921 were you checking the EA Playtest site as it is on there the beta was advertised?
@Cpayne32 I was actually on the forums at the time they posted on Twitter.
I went to the playtest page via my portal. The option was there to apply, I filled in the required information. I got a message at the end which said to return to portal, or something along those lines.
Now there’s nothing showing in schedule, I’ve got 3 available playtest, apex, skate and a shooter in Guildford itself that I can apply for but nothing for f1 23 in the schedule.
Funnily enough I’ve just received an email saying you’ve replied to my post but I’ve never received anything about the sign up for either playtesting or the beta itself.- @craig8921 It seems like there was a pre-selection who got the Mail and Option to register for the upcoming playtest. I got one, others I know got nothing as well.

- @Oesi_F1 I’ve been signed up to playtesting since last year when we moved over to ea from codemasters. This is the confusing part from many right now. Some got everything, emails schedules the works. Others followed the same process minus the initial email and are now in the dark as to what happened and how can the find out if their application crashed or not
Not sure if this will help anyone. Couldn’t sign up using the link in the email. Screen Would just go blank halfway through registering. So logged in playtesting directly through browser and registered without a problem.
Just signed up this morning
When I click join playtesting, it’s takes me to available play tests. I signed up for playtesting last year. F1 23 beta showed up in available playtests when it was first announced, now it just shows this after filling in the form to apply.
There could be a simple step I’m missing and I apologise if I am
- @craig8921 About a month or so ago there was a email to update your preferences? Did you do that?
