- @Neomo Well more depth to F2 and more realistic races would be great but such a option like you want shouldnt be forced on the player.. Optionable would do best and i suggested a adequate system to balance this in another thread but yeah i doubt this will make it in the near future if F2 even stays in the game next year with whats supposed to be in F1 23 :/
Nobody plays f2 so it’s kind of wasted content though they need it for the F1 career now so yeah.
- @realMisterJes Which was there first, egg or chicken?.. Are few people playing F2 because its the same for years and no improvements in depth or even getting close to the real weekend? Or is it a lack of interest when countless people already beg for F3.. I will leave that up to you but IMO they should rather scrap Braking Point 0.2 and F1 World to improve F1 career, F2 could improve career a lot!
I would play it if it had a meaningful impact on the career path into F1. Like when you could previously do F1 tests and your results would mean you get offers from certain teams. Without that, for me its pointless….
@ajobling1983I'm with you here. If Codemasters offered F2 and F1 with comparable depth but as wholly discrete modes, I'd probably barely touch F2. I can only care for it as a proper feeder series fully integrated with an expansive F1 career mode - and as that it has room to improve and should definitely be worked on.
As it stands, I would lament if it gets axed but won't be picking up any pitchfork if F2 being dropped would somehow result in more dev time spent with quality F1 content.F2 is pretty pointless as there are lots of major unfixed bugs in it. It's quite sad really.
Would be a good multiplayer mode if it were fixed because it is equal cars, literally all about the driver, with limited setup changes and strategy options.
