Same issue here, I thought my wheelbase is broken because of how violent and unhealthy it sounds.

Have you checked that the in-game wheel settings haven't changed to something silly? Just asking in case there is at least a manual fix for this.

I did check those because I had seen people on other wheel bases complaining that their settings reset.In my case my wheel settings both in the game and on the tuning menu on my wheel are the same as they were prior to the patch.
