I've just done my first F2 race and not had to. No option for race strategy at the start of the race. Just start on what the game gives me and no request to box. No ai pitted either 🤷♂️

25%. Is there a minimum race length requirement for pit stops?
@Solly_LollyLikely, i can take a quick look in F1 2021 but i would expect that 50% was necessary for a feature race with pit stops as even 50% is only ~15 laps. 7 laps with forced pitstop i kinda useless so it makes sense Codemasters left it out but i will check
Edit: Yes its not available in 25% races in 2021 too so you just have to do 50% or more for pistops
