Ok So my findings are as follows:
HDR is broken on PC
at 4k 120hz when i load the game i do not get the HDR logo in the top right
at 4k 60hz when i load the game i do get the HDR logo in the top right
in BOTH cases everything in game looks the same...washed out menu beyond the default menu, and grid lineup driver picks washed out like everyone is casper the ghost.

this needs to not get lost because of people reporting non bugs like only steering assist in menus and stuff that are not bugs....
- @nike23osu HALLELUJA! The numbers don’t lie right? Hard for devs to point the blame to all of us now😜

Well just a bit more to share...
at 1440p 120hz HDR activates like it should...however still washed out grid driver pics...better than nothing but needs fixed!
Also i believe its like this cause of the ps5 limitation of 32gbps limitation in the signal instead of the full 40gbps of hdmi 2.1 this means its just ported code causing the conflict on the pc, as for whatever reason sony decided to limit the bandwidth lanes and havent fixed it so can do 4k 120z hdr which means us on the PC and xbox have this broken code...you can see its not right when you turn tone mapping on the hdr screen from hgig to off there is no difference in the picture tone, but turning the tone mapping to ON makes its proper bright and vibrant...

Another HDR issue - The F2 career mode menu's are not mastered for HDR. They display at the maximum brightness like SDR ones would, looking over brightened and washed out. If I exit out of the F2 career menu, they go back to normal.

Same here. Both my brother and I on PS5, different TVs using HDR. Button icons, sub menus, ride onboard all washed out. Turn HDR off and you can actually see what's going on.
Absolutely not an end user issue, clearly.
Any solution on this? My game has updated a couple times since it launched, but I still can barely see the main menu because it is all washed out.
Note this is a consistent issue on Steam PC, and the reason I can tell is wrong is because I've also played it on Steam VR with my Oculus Quest 2, the menu looks sharp and clear there.
Please fix this issue soon! Thank you
