@SteveJacksonI have updated the wheel and base firmware to the latest version available

What's with the scrolling posts? 🥳

Okay so as @Ultrasonic_77 has suggested, try pedals via RJ12 and verify the mode. It should default to T-LCM detected when you plug them in and then turn on (please remove USB before connecting  RJ12).

T-LCM_RJ12-pedal_set_mode_detection.pdf (thrustmaster.com)

No idea why Thrustmaster have dismissed issues with using their bases with USB pedals, because they've dismissed my issues similarly (I still doubt they have successfully attempted a replication and I certainly aren't going to buy more of their overpriced hardware to verify what I suspect).

Maybe the answer is not to be so precious about using the pedals via RJ12, I doubt you can tell any difference in the resolution (most people's argument). It's placebo, as the game isn't sophisticated enough for it to matter.

There's no information about hot-plugging, nor warning about simultaneous connection. Yay Thrustmaster.

  • @SteveJackson I also have another problem, when I start the game the buttons of the wheel do not respond, to access the game during the start screen I have to press the windows key a few times

What happens when you test using the Thrustmaster CP?

@pomponellecasse I have identical problem with the same configuration (T300, SF1000 and Open Wheel addon, TLCM via usb).
    Currently we have two solutions:
    - connect TLCM via RJ12 to base,
    - start F1 22 with connected only base and wheel. After displaying main menu of game connect tlcm via USB.

    @PrzKek Thanks!
I have a TS-XW with open wheel and G920 pedals with an adapter.
In the settings my wheel doesn't show up and says Xbox wheel required.
However I can navigate around using the buttons.
Gas only goes to 13% and brake to 6% and I cant change wheel rotations Im assuming cause the wheel isnt recognized.

@BadMayh3m Are your pedals Logitech? If they are I think you have to calibrate them on a pc using Logitech setup program thing. before connecting them to console.

@ScarDuck14 This is something that happened after I hooked them up to the thrustmaster wheel via an adapter trying to save some cash.
The Logitech program only works on PC is my understanding but HEY it's me😒

@BadMayh3m I maybe wrong. But when I was thinking about getting a wheel a review I watched said Logitech you have to run the Logitech program on pc before connecting to console.

Miracle! After a couple of months, I checked if the f122 recognizes tlcm connected via usb (F122 v1.17).

    The answer is: it's workin'!

    Win10, T300 with SF1000, TLCM via USB.
