For F1 23 we've created a brand new customisable tinnitus filter, you'll find this in the options. I had a look at what we were previously doing and tried to come up with a much better system that can be personalised to the user and the specific issues in game. In previous years we notched out frequencies from a particularly "tinnitus causing" turbo whine on one of the bundles but this meant the option was basically useless in other scenarios as after that bundle was dropped for the following year's game the tinnitus toggle was useless.

Unfortunately this doesn't fix the issues in F1 22 as we had to create a complete new system with updates from multiple departments on the project to support this but hopefully you should no longer experience these problems with future games in the franchise.
