The replay works by replaying the telemetry file from the save game, effectively recreating the session in the moment / real time as it works through the recorded telemetry. If you turned the wheel animation off, then the wheel movements were not recorded and this would also suggest the car position is not determined by inputs, just as x,y,z coordinates of the car at interval/checkpoints (and perhaps compressed).

    Just to add I'm sure this won't be viewed as a bug. You've disabled wheel animations and you aren't seeing any wheel animations, although I understand why you want what you do.

    That,s very dissaponted, I have never had this problem even hiding wheel animation in others simulators. It is strange the telemetry was conditionated by visuals, but I recieve wheel angle imput in my external telemetry program, I dont understand why the game dont save it.

    Doesn't need it to recreate the session from telemetry. If you think about it, it is actually Fly By Wire. Realism....we've heard of it.

    Keeps telemetry save files smaller if non-essential information is discarded. Or, as we've alluded to in this example, disabling the option leads to a lack of logging.
