It all seemed ok up until the last week of July, I went away on holiday for 2 weeks and when I came back Ranked MP was deserted in comparison. Did people just move on, did a patch break something, are more people now in the lobbies with cross-play?
They're cherry picking BF lobbies also Im pretty sure the console players want to stay away from PC players.
On Xbox disable crossplay BF lobbies are FULL!
We need the able to make these lobbies.
Also would be nice to have Auto Trans only.....ya know so we'd have EVEN cars for REAL, it'd make it easier for new people to fairly compete with others.

Have you tried creating your own equivalent lobby and seeing if people join?
You can't create a ranked lobby.
It a complete joke that matchmaking in ranked lobbies is as pathetic as it is. My biggest gripe is having a race with a descent number of drivers and when the race ends it sends you to a different lobby that is either empty or has 5 people in it on lap 5. Now you a choice to make, do you sit tight and wait for the next race, knowing that the you are going to get shuffled to yet another lobby when the race ends or leave and begin the endless hunt for a lobby..... AND no one from codies or ea responds to anything to do with matchmaking. And yeah it's been this way foe theblast 3 games. Last tears fix for matchmaking introduced the lobby shuffle.

I know but I quoted @BadMayh3m who wants to be able to create beginner friendly lobbies and you can create custom lobbies with the same settings as these.
I agree that ranked matchmaking needs fixing for what it's worth.

I'd be frustrated too! I was just clarifying my earlier post. I don't think what you said was unreasonable.
same here, for 5 laps. (in and out for so long that i just quit the game)
i havent been able to play 13 laps so far. 100% empy lobbies.
be thankful you can find a lobby at all. I wish I had purchased on steam instead of Origin, I'm a top bronze with A safety rating and literally can't find a ranked lobby even if i sit in one alone for an hour. I can't even get a match to tank my safety rating and at least have some more people to play with.
I even asked for a refund on early-release day so I could buy it on steam and wasn't given one.
For me it means that if the match making on F1 2022 will not be fixed i won't buy any new game of F1 again... As i said its such a MESS and SO sad that it's almost not possible to finde a nice ranked match lobby and play the game as wanted... so sad
Same. Especially since they refuse to give any insight. It's pretty pathetic really.
