Just kidding, but to be serious again... A game which cost 80,90$/€, which have the wheel on the supported wheels list, have to work with plug and play!
It's nice that you found solutions but to deinstall, reinstall, put just one then the other oder don't connect anything else than the wheel etc pp...
This is not what I expect of such a game and a publisher like EA is. There MUST be solution, that when you start the game the wheel is recognized, that's it.
Played with it some more this morning, try this. (Again with the t300) use the X button on the wheel on the controller select screen (player select) for PlayStation. That way the wheel is an active controller before the game starts
This worked for me but after that I cant navigate the awful UI with keyboard anymore and I lost force feedback on my wheel, but at least the pedals work. I tried to mess with FF settings in game and after that pedals no longer seen again.
This is a mess. Thank god I am on the 10 hour trial and didnt put serious money down.
With the driver update my pedals are now working , TLCM, alongside my CSL Elite. So I am good to go now, hoping everyone gets on track soon,

I installed the new Thrustmaster Driver, F1 22 Update 1.05 and a PS5 Update. After that, F1 22 PS5 Version still do not recognize my wheel.
But the PS4 Version on PS5 do recognize it! If you plug it in PS5 it turns around a few times and when you start a game it does the same. But when it startet, it does not but it is recognized. It drive a few laps and everyhtings working perfect, incl. FFB.
Would be nice if with the PS5 Version it would work too, but better than nothing. This is what I can live with.
Doesn't see any differences between both versions.

If it helps, I’m on T500, Ferrari F1 wheel addon with TP3A pedals on PS4. Update file arrived yesterday and has picked everything up. The game now works for me.
EA are still c**ts for what they’ve done with the release of this game. 8 days after release and I get my early access- @FisherSnake the same like @Stu-art420
T500, only Ferrari F1 Wheel addon with TP3A pedals. But on PS5 with PS4 version. - @871121 The T500 can works only on PS4 games (and can't works in any PS5 games). It's explain here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Does-this-update-fix-the-T500-on-ps4/td-p/11618986. It's the same in all games (ACC - DiRT5 - F1 2021 - F1 22 - FARMING 22 - GT7 GRID LEGENDS - MONSTER TRUCK - SNOWRUNNE - WRC 9 - WRC 10 - WRECKFEST) = the wheel is working on the PS4 versions of these games (even if used on a PS5 consoles) but not on the PS5 versions of the games (it's technically impossible).
