The price on the playstaion store in the uk is 79.99 which is an absolute joke considering the game isn’t as good as codemasters used to make it.

New CODs and BFs and FIFAs all cost the same full tag of standard AAA.
Don't get me wrong, this is bad. But that's the current practice for a good while now, no reason to expect otherwise unfortunately. I’m quite new to playstaion 5 so the prices for the games are starting to become sickening I never paid 79.99 for Fifa 22 on ps5 I think I will stick to my policy of playing the f1 games a year behind. If I was to buy every game released at that price in a year that be the equivalent I would pay for my ps5 lol sad times for gaming 😂

Price jump has been along time coming. Prices from PS1 through to PS4 have always been £40-£50. The new prices are obviously unwelcome but not unexpected. If you adjust for inflation Atari games would be £200 these days

Bear in mind that's the Champions Edition price, which you can get 10% off via the in game link in F1 2021. The disc version of the standard edition is still available for £51.85 too if that's of interest.
