Re: Problems on the Xbox Series controller vibration (Rumbling & Force Feedback)

Hi everyone,

I'm afraid I don't have any updates to share on this at the moment. If I do hear back with some news I'll follow up here and let you know.

Thanks for being patient with us on this.

  • So for those of us with champions edition, 11 days have passed and the game is still not playable.  This is not an obscure problem that can be overlooked, its a fundamental part of the game mechanics.  Why should we be patient when you let the customer buy a product you know is defective?

  • @EA_Kent I hope you guys will fix this issue asap because if you can not feel tyres with vibration then you can not drive properly.
    • The platform you're playing on: PC Steam
    • Game Version (you should see it at the bottom-left of the start screen): 1.05
    • What type of controller/wheel you're using: PlayStation 4 Controller, connected at the PC with USB
    • Which game mode(s) you're seeing the issue in: Every game mode.
    • The 16-digit report code (you can see this from the pause menu in-game, or under the Settings at the home screen):RKRC-MGCE-EDCS-DRSE

I play with TCS OFF since 2020 and This bug is making me furious because i can't feel the car at all when i accelerate and it only vibrates when the car is spinning, also the vibration works absolutely fine on F1 2021 but here in F1 22 the vibration is literally absent even with settings setted to MAX, please fix it ☹️

This needs to be fixed immediately, A lot of the player base plays on the controller like me and after paying for the champions edition I've stopped playing because it is very painful and annoying to play like this. It takes away the immersion and I have no fun playing anymore.

  • Do next? Nothing.  If a person employed by a real F1 team to play this game in front of thousands of people has consistent, obvious problems with force feedback and they won't fix it, what makes you think they'll do anything for us?  Imagine being the title game for the biggest motorsport league in the world and putting out a non functional game.

  • also its not inconsistent. its consistently not working. without trigger rumble ("impulse triggers") this game is literally unplayable.

Yep can confirm it's not just pc, playing on series x and didn't have this issue until the last patch now I don't get any rumble in trigger unless and I'm already spinning or crashing.

@Jan213 Right on! it's very consistent at not having it all the time. It's so stupid since we have the option in the game ''trigger vibration'' and we can put this on, or off and even ''auto'' but what ever we put it on, there's just nothing. the worse is that they have to investigate like none of the dev are playing the game... it took me about 5 minutes on june 28th to find out
  • Split screen -  no FFB on the controller for Player 2.
    PlayStation 5.

Can’t play split screen like that whatsoever!
