Hi @ScarDuck14, thanks for pushing this!
Update: talked to my ISP. On their end there is nothing they can do. My internet works perfectly fine, there were no changes made and there are no blocked ports or anything else which could interrupt the communication to the EA F1 Servers.
This problem already takes to long to be acceptable. I tried every possible method on my end, now it's EA's turn to support.
Best,
xFloweeh
I have been having issues since Oct 22. The only way I can play (PS5) is by disabling the crossplay function which is disappointing as I bought it because I could use the crossplay function. Brought this up many times and no one seems to do anything about it! A lot of other people, regardless of console or PC, are having the same issues.

EA Support mentioned that I should try this. Anyways it doesn't work for me, neither with cross play enabled or disabled. I just can't get any connection to the multiplayer. - @ScarDuck14
Do you know any EA employee who could help with this topic? If so maybe you could tag them here.
I mean we are half at the lifecycle of this game and it's basically unplayable for me as im in a league for online races. no multiplayer = no league participation. I payed 90€ for the preorder version and now I can't play, that's not acceptable at all that this post gets ignored. - ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@xFloweeh I’ve flagged this to EA and it has been passed to Codemasters. Unfortunately that’s all I can tell you🤷♂️
Im on PS5 and have no issue. So I’m assuming it’s going to be like finding a needle in a haystack - @ScarDuck14
alright, thanks for confirming! I hope they can find the needle. This topic annoys me so much. I even bought another router to check if it's an hardware issue. - ScarDuck143 years agoLegend

Playfab / code 1008H
Do you have any clue what‘s causing it? I mean i habe done absolutely everything. Fun Fact: my provider thinks this case is so special, that they want to help me by all means. They consultef their external techies to analyze my traffice with ea
I dont know. It happend i think after the patch. I will make a topic asap. Because i try everything. But its not i cant play, its always in the begin and between quali and race on lobby modus

Everyone affected - if the next game has the "EA Account required", you should boycott the title.
I suggest all of you affected by this issue contact EA with your EA account details (EA should provide a secure means of doing this, or at least non-public - maybe to an email or DM to a forum account specifically for this issue).
However, this would only be if EA have the resources allocated to this task specifically. Don't apply as appeasement, apply if you're (EA) actually serious about tracking and fixing the errors.
I have the issues and i think they have to fix it. If they want extra info i can give it

I agree they should fix it, but it's not going to happen until they figure out what the issue is and this will only be possible by tracking the EA Accounts with the issues.
But, anyone who has been hurt by these issues this time around really has no excuse if they purchase the subsequent titles.
Really all the users affected, if they have the EA Account and the linked email access (this is important) to all the linked accounts (e.g. your PSN account email) then I think there can be progress.

Ironically, I had to do my periodic sign in to EA to post that. 😉

Hey, just to let you know that this is being investigated by the team.
Appreciate it. Unable to play for weeks now. If it doesnt get fixed i cant even buy F1 23, wont work anyways. Hope this is solved in the near future. If any Information are needed i can provide them!
Thank you and hope we will get a good update
any news on this topic? I am not able to play since months now! My ISP should be in contact with sony, EA and Codemasters but even they get no response at all!
At this stage it doesn‘t make any sense to buy the upcoming title as most likely i‘d be unable to play that title online.
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@xFloweeh Long shot but it may work. PS5 since launch has had issues with rest mode. Most have been fixed but some weird behaviour persists.
If you use rest mode disable all rest mode settings especially stay connected to internet. Then set rest mode to never. Turn off ps5 unplug from mains for a minute. Then try. Small chance it’ll work. tried it doesn‘t solve the problem. At this point i‘ve given up. I wrote this post in january. We have march now. @jenny_a_m was so kind and dm‘d me but there‘s no fix in sight.
From my standpoint it‘s just frustrating. I won‘t even consider to buy the new f1 game until my old ones are getting playable again.
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@xFloweeh Sorry😔. Was trying to think outside the box and as knowing rest mode does cause issue with some games and as rest mode keeps you connected to internet wondered if there may have been a conflict of some sort.
- @ScarDuck14 Thank you for trying, really appreciate your effort! Sometimes tech is weird, imagine that would‘ve solved the issue 🙂
