Instead of 2 stops being soft soft medium, they should be changed to medium medium hard or medium hard hard if the track has high tyre wear, as seen in real life. Can still be added to 50% races?

CM messed up the tire rules this year, so that's why real life is not represented in the game. CM did say that this issue was noted and sent on to the developers, but I don't think a fix will be coming this year. It's not on the list of fixes/investigations.
- @Nylink Shame but can accept it as they don’t see it as a simulation game. Mods normally sort it out.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure mods will be able to address this one. I've opened up as many of the game's packages as I could find, and between that and scouring through old forum posts, I think that starting from F1 2018, it wasn't possible to alter the weekend tire allocation. We're stuck with one M and one H for races (on non-sprint weekends) in this game.
You can change the properties of individual tires pretty easily, so you could do something like give Hards the same properties as Mediums so that you'd effectively have two Medium tires for a race. You just wouldn't have any Hards available.
