Re: still no force feedback with the G923 steering wheel

@DieuMoustachos Nothing works from my side since launch. I haven't been able to play precisely because of this issue and have tried several different things already.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO HERE I AM WITH THE SOLUTION

i really hope it's gonna work for you man because it solve all the problems i had, i had no FFB so i went back to the version of june on GHUB and so i had this * wirring sound that makes me feel my wheel is gonna break.... TY EA BTW, so i was deseperate; then i found this.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82oGDqxAnGk&list=LL&index=3

I KNOW IKNOW IT'S FOR G29 DONT WORRY

just do the steps in the video ( i know you already did but trust me ) and take the ghub  update in the link below the video ( it's from 2020 and for g29 i know) ,

    then plug in your wheel,

IT WILL NOT BE DETECTED IN GHUB,

but somehow, in game, the FFB is here and no more whirring sound ( you can feel the ffb like 5 seconds after u have the control in time trial )

BUUUUT we have a degrees problem right???? the wheel does not set to 360 degrees, even if it's set to 360 in settings

GO TO CALIBRATION AND PUT STEERING SATURATION TO 77, the wheel is now set to 360 degrees.

remember, everytime you pause the game, it takes 5 seconds for the FFB to come back.

i really hope it works for you.

  • @laglotte410 I am very happy but disappointed.... now when I launch the game the FFB does not disappear anymore !!!!!!!

    BUT

my g923 is not recognized in G HUB so in the game, it tells me that my device has no preset
    so I can't use it...

    can you help me pls?

try to close ghub while you are in game ... * i dont have anymore solutions... it's so weird that nobody have the same issue even with the whel, same drivers....   you must try different things like unplug and plug again while you are in game ( it's * i know but i think u just miss a detail to make it all work properly )

maybe you have logitech files in APPDATA " local."..  this is not in the video, maybe try to do all the steps from the vid again but this time, look to "local" and " local low " then also " roaming" in APPDATA for logitech files, maybe they are not called " logitech" but " logishred" or something like this. If u do find some logi files, delete it

    good luck man

  • @laglotte410 I'm going to try again, a second time, but I don't think it will change much... yes my FFB is back but it's unusable... I think the problem is the fact that I have a G923 and that it came out in august 2020, while the g hub update that this tutorial gives us is from the previous month....

i told you that it's normal that ghub does not recognize the wheel , but do you see the wheel in settings in f1 2022 ?

it's not important that the wheel has no preset

if u see it in game u can fix the wheel max angle

if u see the wheel in settings in f1 2022  u can put the steering saturation to 77 to make the wheel 360 degrees

  • @laglotte410 simply : my steering wheel is not recognized so it puts me "no preset" so when the game asks me to configure my keys, no matter which key I press nothing happens ....
