Technically, yes you’re correct. The longer the race is, the more time there is for rain to come in a race.

But proportionally, the percentage chance per each part of a race does not change based on the length.

@Radoko34You will find that it does

i play my team career only last 3 years I’ve put thousands off hours in.  Not just that I have played the game every which way.  Hundreds of careers  short long full races you name a combination I’m willing to bet I’ve tried it at least once

    Ok.

So you’re saying that (for example) if I do a 50% race then it is less likely to start wet than if I do a 100% race.

@Radoko34 No if you enter a race weekend with race set at 100% distance. For arguments sake the race takes 2 hours to complete. And the weather shows the last hour off the race there’s high chance of rain. Reduce race distance to 50% and you may see rain is forecast for the very end.

Reduce race to 25% and it’s a dry race.

    I understand what you mean.
What I’m trying to say is that proportionally, the percentage chance at any given moment during a race does not increase when increasing the race distance. They are not two directly proportional variables.

The rain is scripted.  Which means before you even go to the race weekend. The game has already decided if and when it’s going to rain.  The only way if can do that is by selecting a time when it will or won’t rain.  As time is a constant and something we cant alter.   Whereas Race distance we can change once we have entered the weekend.

@Radoko34 Yes I know. If im unsure about something I’m posting. I say something like… I maybe wrong, or thinking out loud or that im guessing.

I do make statements in a matter of fact way. If I don’t have the facts.
