  • @ScarDuck14 than you very much for your help, but sadly the issue is different and the solution does not apply since I am not enrolled in the Xbox Insider program. Anyways, I will try to find a solution. Have tried various other games such as F1 2021, Dirt 5 and Fortnite and all three run locked 120fps. Other titles such as Forza Horizon 5 don't drop from 60fps. I have factory reset my console, reinstalled the game, but the issue persists. These tests make me believe that it is clearly a game issue rather than a software of hardware problem. However, I played the EA trial and that version is still in my console and there is sadly no way to get rid of it, even when reinstalling the game. When I play the trial version I experience the same fps drops as using the full disc version. Maybe it is a problem with having the trial version in the console, but I have not been able to find a way to get rid of the trial version. If anyone out there has experienced the same issues or knows how to get rid of the ea play trial version please please contact me because the game right now is unplayable.

@matiassuau96 I don’t have the EA trial version and if I don’t use vrr via freesync I experience awful screen tearing and stuttering. So I think we have the same problem. I, as well, have tried all the usual methods as you like reinstalling, deleting save data and playing with several different settings in and outside of the game, hoping to identify the source which might be causing this. Sadly I haven’t been able to find a fix and vrr is the only way to make the game somewhat playable. My monitor and console are perfectly fine doing 120 fps on other titles as well.
