I want to share my experience with my Logitech G923, and i felt the same thing that @Duudefish i saying.
Overall, the forces are weaker than previos titles, but cranking all the way up the FFB force in the settings, make it work. You can fell the centering force in high and medium speed corners, the bumps in the track, and the wheel vibrates really strong on the kerbs, BUT, as he said, the only time i feel some FFB on traction, is on the very start of the race when you release the clutch, but never again in the whole race.
I want to do more testing for this "issue" on, but for now, there is no vibrations at all in the wheels on slow corners, or medium speed corners where you never know if you are close to the limit of the grip, or not. The FFB on the wheel doesn't give that information, so, i never know if i need to put more throttle or not, and somtetimes if you do, it's already late you're spining already.
By the way, at least for me,this is not an issue with the new 1.06 update. I didn't had any force feedback on traction since F1 22 lauched.
Let's keep testing and see what can we fix, or discover regarding this lack of FFB on traction.
Cheers!
Feels bad man. It'll get patched one day soon I hope. Then we can all get various sim-racing wrist injuries together.

Sorry to keep bumping, if mods have issues with it I can stop, but, I can confirm 100% now that Rear FFB does not exist in f1 22 for logi wheels/controllers in general. It does work on esports wheels though if you feel like dropping 4k for one hahah.
Wheel spins, collisions, throttle, grip, reversing, all of them have no sensation in the wheel.
Would be nice if a dev could comment that they're aware of this issue so I don't need to worry about bumping it further until next patch!

- 4 years ago@Hansenhaus I just did - probably should have done that way sooner! Thanks amigo. Bug thread - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/No-rear-FFB-in-logitech-wheels-and-gaming-controllers/m-p/11670616#M4219

@DuudefishThis is all interesting. I just got my g920 (Prime Day sale haha) so I don’t have a ton of previous experience in other games to know what feelings normally come through.
On Xbox Series S on a pad I DO get rumble in the trigger during starts to tell me where traction is on the rear tires. Same for when I’m accelerating out of corners and also when I’m on the limit of braking. But no rumble/FFB on my wheel for these moments.
Otherwise my wheel feels great everywhere else. Through turns, over kerbs, everything else comes through strongly. I briefly compared it to F1 2020 before I deleted it off my console and the FFB in F122 was actually stronger, but again just no rumble/shake/FFB during race starts/limit of traction.
I may have to reinstall 2020 again just to compare again, but if other/previous games provide that feedback through the wheel then that’s a huge issue that’s it’s not coming through on 22.
