So here’s my experience with Windows 11 and a G923 Xbox version.
Pre patch 1.06 ffb was good for me, no issues on wheel or series s/elite series 2 controller.
When 1.06 released, there was also an update to GHub which were both installed before I played patch 1.06. Many problems from ffb with the wheel from no ffb to only having steering resistance/centering spring. I tried 4-5 older versions of ghub, even updating them but still using versions older than the newest. Registry suggestions too. I could get everything working with the exception of rear/tire grip vibration. This included rumble triggers not working on either controller. F1 2021 suffered the same except trigger vibrations would work.
I tried many many things. Up to needing to reinstall Windows after thinking I’d just delete all of my usb drivers thinking they’d reinstall with rebooting. They didn’t lol
So with a fresh install and now on 1.07 everything is working fine for me. Except for the controller rumbling when it’s plugged in and I’m using the wheel. I haven’t tried to fix that, just leave the controller unplugged now.
I’m not suggesting a fresh install is a good solution, I didn’t have a choice. And unfortunately I never got to play 1.07 before I reinstalled Windows so I have no idea if that even has anything to do with it. Just sharing my experience.
This thread is about that rear vibration that you're still missing.
This is solely about the rear of the car, not general ffb, which although it works, it only works for the front.
