Had the same issue.
Did you look in the OSD customisation settings? In my case the rear view mirror was hidden after I set hidden to no it worked.
I too have this problem I am glad it's not my system and that you have the issues also. I am not glad that you have the issues I am glad to see that's it's not just me

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? when go into setting turn the rear view mirror on the PS5 it wont come on very sure the rear red lights on the rear wings and back of the car might not also be working could look into please
What happens when the bug occurs? game plays normal gotten used rear view mirror in the game where now i can't judge car behide me caused damage to my car one behide me was very funny

I had the problem 1st played the game yesterday morning at 1st i thought done something wrong checked the setting played around with the on screen setting still nothing hit me no it's a bug or a glitch also think the red lights on the back of the cars might not be working as well show car is charging the battery or when it's raining that happen last year or in 2020 i'm not worried Codemasters EA games will sort it out part from that this year F1 game very enjoyable PS5 i play it on
