Red Flag in F1 23?

@Nuvolarix I think bringing back the red flags in the game is essential like you said. Its needed especially at tracks like Monaco and Baku

@pawel567 Yeah i dont remember who it was but i think it was Lee Mather talking about it being looked at but naming the current engine as a problem for red flags so its likely that the game with a new game engine will have red flags again.. Currently i doubt F1 23 will have a new engine and therefore wont have red flags but thats just guessing

@Nuvolarix With this weekends race absolutely. Also if im not mistaken it now holds the record for most red flags in a single race which is crazy

@Meza994 I don't expect big changes in F1 23 either, I think there will be few changes. I would expect bigger changes when the game comes out with the new engine (F1 24/25)

@Nuvolarix I dont think red flags will be a thing anymore. and I think thats a good thing. The SC is already a huge mess and can only be used in singleplayer pretty much. Red Flags would just be too random. They should start focussing on SC first. Delta is bugged, DT getting ditched randomly while still having time to reduce pace. Different people having different deltas. Random SC deployment and being able to cause them on purpose. That stuff they need to get right first

@Meza994 as long as they provide old gen consoles there wont be a new engine. the game can only make a serious step once they ditch old gen support.

@Wollcott In theory yes of course, in practice ive seen devs go for a new engine and massively downtune the old gen versions so i wouldnt put that completely out but i also dont believe it will happen, been like over 10 years since i heard of it last haha
