Refueling and other regulation changes in future titles?
Simple suggestion and as rule changes made it into F1 Manager 2022 (although the total spectrum isnt known yet but refueling seems to fit to the known) FOM shouldnt be too big of a problem.
My idea is to bring back refueling, no mandatory tires, no point for the fastest lap, points for pole position or double points for final race to the game if the player is feeling like mixing it up.
There are good reasons to ban refueling IRL but in a game it actually opens up a lot of strategy especially with DRS making overtaking easier! AI would only need a strategy rework (they need it anyway) and add a lot of variety in turn. 3 compounds to choose from would help a lot too, go for an aggressive low fuel 3 stop with mainly softs? Less fuel = less tyre wear and you might fly every lap and have DRS to make the overtakes. Or go very conservative with a lot of fuel hard to medium, no blistering laptimes but far less struggling with overtaking!
No mandatory tires? Try a No stop on hards or go agressive on 1 stop medium to medium?
All of these can add something (although i gotta admit i would really love refueling haha)
All available for grand prix mode and as an option for career modes from 2nd season onwards. Potentially even changes to qualifying format or practice sessions but that one would be more difficult to get the FOM to accept (and implement into the game).
Whats the opinion of others on this? (Yes Mario, i know youd rather have suspension and tyre temps😜)
